![]() I removed some of the redness from his skin, and that’s it! A few really basic edits and the image is so.much.better. I also cloned the corners so all you can see is couch, as opposed to odd little dark patches from the back and foreground. I also cloned out his foot behind his ear since it was distracting and taking away from the focus on his cute face. I usually like to increase eye brightness a BIT more – without getting too fake – so I whitened up the whites of his eyes a bit. ![]() This helped take some shadows off his face and brighten his eyes. I do this in almost every image because I think the brighter, the better (to a degree ). The first thing I did here was increase the brightness. I especially like using Photoshop after I’ve shot something indoors, to adjust the lighting a little bit.Īfter Baby Landon’s photo shoot, I was left with a ton of absolutely adorable photos that needed only minor adjustments – but I think the minor adjustments made all the difference! Check out this Before & After: However, a lot of the time, a photo is great but just needs to be amped up to make it amazing. Not all composition problems can be saved by the crop tool, and not all lighting woes can be alleviated if you shoot in RAW (although seriously…a lot can). However, Photoshop can not save a crappy photo. Leave a comment and let me know.I love Photoshop. This tool won’t be much use if your image is so blurry that you can’t even tell where the edges are. The edges of the objects in your photo are taken and given contrast by the unsharp mask. These are just a few ways to unblur an image, and unfortunately, there is only so much you can do if your image is too blurry. Pro Tip: If your image is still not quite right, try using Smart Sharpen before Unsharp Mask as this may help reduce the blur of your image better. From here, click on Photomerge (at the far right) and choose Photomerge Scene Cleaner from the options. Step 2: Click on the Guided tab at the top of the screen to go into the Guided room. With Photoshop Elements open, go to File > Open and select the files you wish to merge together. Your image should look improved from before and you should be able to save your image by going to File > Save. Step 1: Open at least 2 images in Photoshop Elements Editor. With options Lens Blur, Gaussian Blur, and Motion Blur, depending on the type of blur that is occurring in your image select the one that’s appropriate for you.Īfter choosing the settings in smart sharpen, go ahead and press OK. I would suggest playing around with the Reduce Noise option as that will be your best bet at removing additional blur.Īdditionally, you will notice a box that says Remove at the bottom of the menu box, this allows you to tell Photoshop the type of blur that you are removing. Step 6: If you are still noticing some blur in your image, go back up to Filter > Sharpen > Smart Sharpen, a menu box will appear and you can alter the settings. Simply click OK once you are satisfied with the findings. Make sure the checkbox next to Preview is ticked if you want to see the changes you’re making immediately.
